Welcome to Ovi Raishiin, the gateway to Reisa National Park. We are the ideal destination for company outings, mystery tours, Christmas parties, gatherings with friends and family, or cultural evenings.

how to get there:

Ovi Raishiin, the Reisadalen Visitor Point, is located in Saraelv. From Storslett, follow the secondary road FV 865 for 46 km to the turning space in Saraelv. Then continue about 800 m from the turning space along the gravel track. Follow the signs to Ovi Raishiin.

Tales of local nature and culture, guided tour of the Reisa National Park tourist information centre, with food and coffee served around the campfire. Our traditional menu is based on local ingredients such as salmon, reindeer, elk and cloudberries.

Our menu is provided courtesy of local craftswoman Hilde Lund:
Elk casserole with rice and vegetables.
Salmon soup, served with home-made bread.
Bidos – a Sami celebratory stew made with reindeer and local vegetables. Served with syrup bread.
Dessert featuring Arctic berries.
Mineral water and coffee are included in the price.

About the location at Ovi Raishiin:

Excellent, but simple standard.
Good toilet facilities.
Overnight accommodation: bunkbeds and reindeer skins.
No running water or electricity.
Outdoor clothing and stout shoes are required.
